If you spot any of these signs, it’s better to act early — the longer problems persist, the more likely they are to lead to further damage (and higher cost).

Shock absorbers and struts help control movement and reduce bounce. When they wear out, you might notice a rougher ride, excessive bouncing, or the car dipping forward when braking.
